While Din is relatively humble, willing to help others and serve interests that are beyond his own, Bo-Katan is not as altruistic. Both characters would be learning from experienced teachers and honing their impressive abilities. That storyline would be far more interesting than the anticipated showdown, and there would be symmetry with the journey that Grogu may embark on if he chooses the Jedi way. If Bo-Katan helps him instead of hindering him, she could mold a great leader by showing him how to succeed and what pitfalls to avoid. He's currently struggling with where that path is leading, which is why the Darksaber fought against him.
